How to Create a Natural Skincare Routine at Home?

In our busy world, we barely get time for relaxing and spending on ourselves. Sometimes it becomes essential to spend time with yourself, breathe and surround yourself with positive energy. Skincare and beauty products are available in the market in a wide range, but few product companies use organic materials.

But as we are so busy with our work, we don’t get ample time to conduct market research on which products, such as face creams, are good and organic.

Natural home skin care comprises beauty methods passed to us from generations by our ancestors and can be blindly trusted and used as these don’t carry any side effects.

Turmeric for glow

Turmeric, otherwise known as Haldi, has been considered the best food and medicine that helps build immunity and is famous for its antiseptic quality. During Indian marriages, the Haldi ceremony is celebrated as a ritual because it is believed to give a radiant glow to the skin of both groom and bride and has anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties.

How to use it?

First, mix one teaspoon of turmeric powder and four teaspoons of fat content milk and make a smooth paste. Now apply it all over the face and neck with the help of a brush and leave it to rest for 8-10 minutes. Now clean it with plain water and continue this for a week to observe a clear result of glowing and brightening skin.

The main advantage of turmeric is that it has medicinal properties because of the Curcumin presence, a bioactive substance. This helps diminish the damaging radicals from the skin and gives a natural glow to the skin. This is why many face moisturizer creams are made of turmeric.

Multani Mitti as rescue

Fuller’s earth or Multani Mitti is one of the substances used to treat skin issues like excess oil, acne-prone skin, and blemished skin. It is the best natural exfoliating agent with active ingredients that penetrate oil, dirt, and pollutants to purify the skin.

As Multani mitti is made organically, it is hard to find in its purest form. This product’s alkaline property helps balance the skin and increases the skin complexion.

How to use it?

First, take a teaspoon of Multani mitti and then make a paste of it by mixing it with yogurt. Now leave it for 10-15 minutes. Now apply it all over the face with the help of a brush and leave it for 7-8 minutes. Now rinse it with warm water. Make it your daily skincare routine at home to get rid of oily and acne-prone skin.

Multani mitti is an outstanding option to prevent your skin from getting blackheads, whiteheads, and other breakouts, as it absorbs dirt and impurities. This is the reason now many face creams have Multani mitti in them. It gives a cooling sensation and helps to decrease inflammation, if any, in the skin.

Gentle exfoliation of the lips with the help of lemon and sugar scrub

The lips are the most vital part of the face and must be properly taken care of as they are very sensitive. Lips get dry and chapped very soon due to the external and ecological factors caused by harsh UV rays or excessive pollution. With the help of lemon and sugar scrub, you can get rid of dry and dead skin cells on lips, and it also helps to reduce the pigmentation caused by excessive UV radiation.

How to use it?

First, take two full teaspoons of organic brown sugar; now, mix it with 4-5 drops of lemon juice and honey in a bowl. Mix it well, then use it on your lips and scrub it properly using your fingers in a circular motion. Now clean it with a bit of warm water. At last, apply the lip balm of your choice in a bit more quantity. To get the desired result keep doing this for a week before going to bed at night.

Lemon in the scrub is best because it is enriched with vitamin C, which will help remove tan from the lips. Honey has a good moisturizing quality, so it locks the moisture. Sugar is used for scrubbing as it helps remove the dead skin and make the skin healthy.
